Social and Environmental Responsibility

We recognize the importance of conserving the Earth's precious natural resources to protect the planet.

We also believe and act knowing that the Amazon peoples have a fundamental role and are protagonists in the maintenance of the region and the forest population.
Our mission is to provide promising non-wood materials in innovative products, building our vision, our scientific excellence in biodiversity, environmental and social responsibility that are reflected in positive financial results for the entire value chain.

According to the definition of the Ethos Institute, corporate social responsibility

"is the form of management that is defined by the company's ethical and transparent relationship with all the stakeholders with which it relates and by the establishment of business goals compatible with the sustainable development of the company. society, preserving environmental and cultural resources for future generations, respecting diversity and promoting the reduction of social inequalities”.

We started researching and studying Amapá's biodiversity many years ago. Amapá was and still is a land to be discovered, a coal that can turn into a diamond. There are many riches that nature has placed in these lands, but the sustainable development of the region is not enough. Much is said, but little is actually done.
Good work, intelligent, planned, organized, based on concepts and regional culture with technological innovation added to research and development, within the bases and principles of sustainability, taking care of the social and environmental aspects; is the principle of Amarzonya.

Working with State Communities, Associations and Cooperatives, recognizing the work of extractive families, valuing effort and knowledge. Enabling and supporting the different works with the objective of maintaining the quality of raw materials for the extraction of Amazonian oils and the regional fruit chain. Always looking for new commercial partnerships to leverage the processing and marketing of Amazonian oils and the development of functional and supplementary products based on regional fruits, mainly açaí.

We love the Amazon, we believe in its potential, we understand that we are capable of preserving and producing. Sustainable development is possible.

The richness of biodiversity allows Amapá to produce many products for well-being, beauty and health. Our purpose is to add value to the State itself, not only to sell raw materials, but to develop innovative products that allow us to bring “Amazon Beauty and Health” to the whole world.

In today's world, consumers demand differentiated products, and this differentiation is only achieved by valuing characteristics related to product quality/safety and business practices related to the brand.

That is why it is very important to know and value the production chain, to know how seeds and fruits are harvested, how the selection, logistics, and storage of seeds and fruits are carried out, qualification, maintenance, fractionation and transport, always maintaining their quality and benefits:

All natural, no contaminants, from the forest straight to the consumer.

From the Amazon to the world.

This is the concept behind traceability: a set of measures that allow us to know the history and trajectory of a product, from its origin to the consumer's hand. According to the ISO9001 standard, traceability refers to the origin of inputs and raw materials, history of the production process, shipment and receipt of the product. For the protection of the brand it is all this, plus the control of the supply chain itself.

Currently, there are several management tools whose objective and implementation are aimed at seeking this product traceability, in different segments of the industry.
Traceability tools added to certification processes end up differentiating product and brand, as they allow reliable risk management, in line with new consumer's expectations of transparency and sustainability, which leverages business and builds loyalty in the market.

We love the Amazon, we believe in its potential, we understand that we are capable of preserving and producing. Sustainable development is possible.

The company undertakes to annually prepare a Socio-Environmental Balance. This will be a fundamental tool for the consolidation of a business culture that favors transparency and allows society to know and value the company's efforts to reconcile economic success with positive results from the socio-environmental point of view, that is, towards sustainability.
